Vincera, Inc., is serious about protecting your privacy -- whether you are a subscriber or a visitor. We use information collected about you only to process and bill orders and to make Vincera, Inc. a more useful and valuable service. Subscribers and Visitors

Vincera, Inc. shares content usage information about subscribers and visitors with a third-party advertising company for the purpose of targeting advertising campaigns and upgrading visitor information used in reporting statistics. Vincera, Inc. also uses your information to market its services and to gain feedback on potential new services. Vincera, Inc. may also evaluate information about your usage of licensed content to ensure compliance with the content license agreement.

Offline use of licensed content may be tracked by collecting the following information for each use of the content: 1) Document ID for the content. 2) Machine fingerprint of the computer upon which the content is being viewed. The machine fingerprint will not provide any personally identifiable information from the computer, and will consist of a combination of parameters that include operating system name, operating system version, hard disk serial number, MAC address of the network card, computer name, computer manufacturer name, processor ID, processor clock speed, BIOS manufacturer and SMBIOS version. 3) IP address of the computer upon which the content is being viewed. 4) User id or login name of the individual who originally downloaded the content being viewed.

Newsletters

As a subscriber or visitor to Vincera, Inc.'s site, you may voluntarily sign up for one of our newsletters. When you sign up for a newsletter, we ask for contact information, such as your name and e-mail address, and job and job title information, which are used to help us understand our audience. This information is for Vincera, Inc.'s use only and is not disclosed to any external party except in aggregate form. Additionally, if you decide that you do not wish to receive a newsletter or update any longer, you may cancel it.

How Do We Protect Subscriber Information Once We Have It?

All information is stored on a secure server. Vincera, Inc. uses Netscape's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) server for our Web site. Browsers will encrypt the contents of the subscription form before sending it to our server. Please remember that many services and transactions are performed by our business partners.
