VIP extends Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions by filling the security gap that exists between in-network document distribution and out-of-network document distribution.

At the point a DLP solution makes a security determination, VIP adds the appropriate document security policy to the outgoing PDF. The security policy then travels with the PDF as it is distributed inside or outside of the network, constantly enforcing the appropriate usage and distribution policies while also filling the security gap.
