Dave Malmstedt
Chairman of the Vincera Board of Directors

As Chairman Mr. Malmstedt brings more than 30 years of experience in driving growth for numerous enterprise software companies. His vision has moved Vincera from two product lines that emphasized piracy prevention and behavior monitoring to a single solution focused on digital asset security and tracking. This vision uniquely delivers to the market the ability to protect “data in motion” just as organizations protect their data at rest, monitor the document thread, measure distribution metrics against business criteria and manage the access including the ability to disable and enable secured documents. Mr. Malmstedt's prior roles include service as COO and Director of The Kernel Group, a private storage management software company whose acquisition by Veritas Software he expedited; Executive Vice President, Worldwide Field Operations for Legato Systems, Inc., a public storage management software company; Senior Vice President, Worldwide Field Operations for FullTime Software, Inc., which was acquired by Legato Systems, Inc; Vice President, Americas and Asia Pacific for Candle Corporation; Vice President, Central Area for Legent Corporation; and co-founder, Business Software Technology, Inc., where he cultivated and grew the start-up into a successful organization acquired by Legent Corporation.
